The New York Knicks are searching for third team facilitator to keep alive the prospect of completing a Carmelo Anthony trade to the LA Clippers, according to ESPN.
The Knicks continue to discuss the prospect of sending Anthony to Los Angeles without taking any of the Clippers’ top three stars but have struggled to find a trade construction that works for both teams involving the other players on the Clipper’s roster.
New York also have continued to try to assemble a workable trade that the Cleveland Cavaliers would consider for Anthony after the Cavs rebuffed Anthony-for-Kevin Love proposals.
Will an actual trade take place?
There is a lot of things to be done here. Also, one has to wonder why the Cavs didn’t want to the take the Melo-Love swap. It should be an interesting week ahead.
